Who we are now

Monamor UK Ltd established in 2009, when former
Voice Over & TV Presenters agent, Vicki Hope-Robinson,
and her entrepreneur husband John, took over the
existing business.

Vicki and John left behind the stresses and strains of their
previous businesses in 2003. They moved to Anglesey,
inspired by the beauty and spirituality of the island and
the sense of possibilities and opportunities that endless
miles of sea suggests. It was ‘Mon’ a ‘Mor’ – ‘Anglesey’
and the ‘Sea’ that literally drew them to their home!

Over the years living on Anglesey Vicki has developed a
philosophy of Four Principles for women around the
importance of nurturing yourself in the midst of your busy
lives. Quite simply – remembering to fill your tank when its
running on empty!

She shares and teaches these Principles on 1 Day
Retreats for Women run from their home overlooking
the tranquil Anglesey waters.

Vicki had been using and loving Monamor’s gorgeous
products since their launch. As she realised these
products were the very basis of her daily Nurture Ritual,
the Fourth Principle, it was clear there was a perfect
synergy between Monamor and Vicki’s passion for
encouraging women to take care of themselves.

Vicki and John intend to expand the Monamor range
further into products that continue to reflect these
Four Principles. They are currently working with an
Apothecary in Somerset designing a new collection
of four fragrances. These will be used for a new
range of Monamor products called
The Four Principles:-

Solitude, Acceptance, Gratitude and
Nurture Rituals.

Due to be launched in January 2012 the initial range
will be luxury candles and diffusers. These will be
followed later in the year by complementary body
lines.

Our perfumer, Richard is committed to working with
only the best essential oils and natural botanicals.
He combines both Eastern and Western philosophy
and meditates on the theme of each fragrance
before intuitively approaching the blend selection
process. Each fragrance is blended by hand and will
be made up of natural aromatherapy oils. The
combination and selection of oils will relate to each
Principle, through the therapeutic benefit of each
ingredient.

And, of course, they will smell amazing!
